Good Afternoon:
In the spring of 2016, the Cresskill School District voluntarily performed its initial testing for lead in drinking water. Any water sources that were above allowable levels were remediated and tested again until all were at the acceptable level. Subsequent to our initial testing, the Department of Education issued new laws and regulations for testing for lead in drinking water. Our school system is committed to protecting student, teacher, and staff health. To protect our community, and to be in compliance with the Department of Education regulations, the Cresskill School District conducted additional comprehensive water testing for our district.
Yesterday, we received the results of the testing of these water sources from Suburban Testing Labs/Karl Environmental Group. The results of the testing are listed below
