Jewish Culture Club members planned the first ever Israeli Culture Expo here at Cresskill Middle and High School to celebrate Jewish American Heritage Month for May. They created booths to teach the entire student body about various aspects of Israel and its culture and traditions. Students presented on the major cities, fun beaches and activities, holidays, the Western Wall of hope and prayers, sports, and inventions. Of course, there were treats as well! The club members handmade more than 800 chocolate balls (Kadorei shokolad) to treat the rest of our students and enjoyed falafel in hummus and pita donated by one of our wonderful parents.
Awesome job done by our students and thank you for this spectacular event!
*Also a special thank you to the Jewish Culture Club’s president, Yuval Harari, for coordinating and organizing this amazing event! 😀
